Beth Lawrence
MA, CCC-SLP
Beth Lawrence is a certified speech-language pathologist who received her Master of Arts from Northwestern University in 1994. She has had an exciting career as an SLP, working with children of all ages, as well as adults and geriatrics.
Since 2000, she has run a private pediatric practice, Lawrence Speech Pathology Services, in Baltimore. She assesses and works with students with language-based learning differences and articulation difficulties. Beth enjoys leading workshops on a variety of topics including social-pragmatics, vocabulary acquisition, reading comprehension, memory strategies and writing. She is constantly learning from her students, in fact, two of her students were the muses for InferCabulary and WordQuations. Thanks, Peninah and Charlie!
Deena Seifert
MS, CCC-SLP
Deena Seifert is a Co-Founder of Communication APPtitude and a certified speech language pathologist for more than 25 years. An early proponent of the iPad, she is excited about educational apps for students. Receiving her masters’ degree from The University of Mississippi in 1991, she specializes in pediatric speech language therapy and owns her own private practice, Figure of Speech Therapy, since 2000. Deena has led workshops in vocabulary instruction, written language, technology and language strategies.
