Smart Brief Article from an SLP in the Trenches
Adrienne Murray, a speech-language pathologist at The Howard School in Atlanta, Georgia, shared, “My students had to add a sentence to an InferCabulary image, then record themselves reading the sentence in their Seesaw app. InferCabulary is extremely useful for these challenging hybrid-model classrooms!”
Adrienne is not slowing down in sharing her wealth of knowledge to help other teachers. Smart Brief recently published her article sharing specific strategies on helping students with their language development. Adrienne emphasizes the importance of promoting oral language with her students using the program, Literacy How. Adrienne also discusses the need for multi-sensory instruction (including visuals) and teaching and encouraging students to use strategies to help themselves. She mentioned how InferCabulary helps her achieve these goals.
Thank you for being a fantastic SLP, Adrienne!
